Meet Hui-chin

Hui-chin Chen, CFP®
Managing Partner and Financial Planner

Hui-chin Chen, CFP® started her tenure at Pavlov Financial Planning in 2013, after leaving her first career in quantitative policy analysis to join her American husband in Mexico, and to pursue her dream of integrating deep human connections and math.
Since then, she has developed expertise in guiding cross-border families to simplify, organize, make good decisions, and take actions for their financial lives, all while moving and living in five other countries.
Beyond having cross-border financial planning needs, Hui-chin’s clients are normally:
- Entrepreneurial
- Student of diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Seasoned travelers
- Eager to understand the why but happy to take advice and guidance on the how
Hui-chin is also the Founder of The CIGA Network, a global advisory community to promote collaboration among advisers working with cross-border clients. As an immigrant and expat, Hui-chin is passionate about making cross-border financial planning accessible and more comprehensive through bringing advisers with different expertise together.
A native of Taiwan, Hui-chin is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and National Taiwan University. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese, and can converse in Spanish and Japanese.
